Peter Hohl

Peter Hohl is the Executive Director of the City of Alameda Health Care District, which owns four health care facilities, including Alameda Hospital. Through its partnership with Alameda Health System, the District is dedicated to providing residents of the city of Alameda with access to high-quality healthcare services. The Alameda Health Care District was formed through a ballot measure approved by the voters of the city of Alameda in 2002 and is governed by an elected 5-member board that provides overall leadership and oversight for the District.
Prior to joining the District in 2025, Peter was Chief Executive Officer of All American Medical Group/Asian American Medical Group, based in San Francisco, and was also the Chief Executive Officer of OakCare Medical Group, a physician-owned medical group that provided professional and residency teaching services to Alameda Health System. Prior to that, Peter worked for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan in a variety of roles, including Vice President of Revenue Cycle Design and Vice President of Alliances and Acquisitions. Peter began his health care career with Blue Cross of California in several different roles, including Director of Planning and New Business Development and Manager of Corporate Planning and Development.
Peter earned his BS degree in Finance from California State University, Long Beach, and his MBA from The Pennsylvania State University.
